I’m a parent, I don’t have enough time!
I think we should re-negotiate with the Egyptians over this 24-hours in a day thing. It’s a little outdated and quite frankly I need more time.
So like, a million years ago or something (Probably not a million but ages ago) the Egyptians looked at some stars and divided up some daytime hours and night time hours and added an extra hour here and there and made up a 24-hour day. If you want specifics then google it, I haven’t got time!
Anyway, if they did that all those years ago, maybe it’s time to have a re-think and ask for an extension. I’m easy, an extra 6 hours per day or an extra day per week, whatever the majority decide. All I know is, I need more time to get stuff done.
Believe it or not I was writing a post, with time in mind, right when a company called Jord got in touch. Jord ironically make men’s watches, I’m not even making this up for the benefit of a sneeky review post, ask my wife if you want I’m sure she’ll lie for me…..
Jord said, do you want a unique, amazing, cool watch and I said, yes please! Well it went down a bit more professional than that but you get the deal. Details were exchanged and I got a note through my door from Mr Postman. I had to collect the package from the local Royal Mail office place thingy. I didn’t really have time for that but luckily it’s on the way to the girls school so didn’t take up too much time.
WOW! Was my genuine reaction upon opening the package and revealing this specially carved wooden box, it looks amazing doesn’t it. I spent 5 minutes looking at the box before realising I was probably going to be late for something later on in the day if I started wasting time here looking at a box, so I dived in.
I revealed the unique watch and it looked extraordinary. I do like my watches but never really put my money where my mouth is and go all out and get an expensive one. This watch however screams premium. I love the particular colour wood I chose as Jord have several and the face colour synced beautifully, I was and am very impressed.
The first thing I noticed when picking up the watch to put in on was how light it was. I’d never come across a wooden watch before and the weight surprised me. It took a few minutes to get used to the feel of a wooden watch that was as light as a feather on my wrist but it looked amazing.
Does anyone know who is best to speak to about some extra hours in a day by the way?
The entire package from Jord was very impressive. The box, that has a little pull-out drawer for the spare links that were also provided, the little cushion to present your watch on when not wearing it, the social media card, everything just looks amazing.
Right, I don’t have much time left to complete this post so I’ll just squeeze in a few more points. I’ve covered how the watch looks and feels so now the performance. Well…. It tells me the time, so that’s great, other than that what do you want from a watch?
If you have time I highly recommend you check out these links below, in fact just make time because there is a chance to win some vouchers towards your own Jord watch too!
