I’m not sure what else I can say about Jurassic Kingdom that I haven’t already.

If you want a ROARsome and educational experience then you’ve got to get yourself down to Norfolk Heritage Park in Sheffield to experience the Jurassic Kingdom UK Tour Experience.

We went to the event in Leeds a few months ago and were really excited to be going back again, this time to Sheffield. The dinosaurs are so life-like with movement, noises and they even look like their breathing! There’s information about each dinosaur and plenty of activities to get involved with.

I always think it’s better so see these types of events rather than read about them so here’s a video we made during our trip to Jurassic Kingdom Sheffield.

We can 100% recommend Jurassic Kingdom Sheffield just as we did when it came to Leeds. Below is another video we filmed of our time at Jurassic Kingdom Leeds, where our audio didn’t let us down!

Roaring raptors and prehistoric predators take over Sheffield park

ROARING raptors and prehistoric predators are taking over Norfolk Heritage Park in Sheffield this weekend, as the UK’s first ever dino-tour – Jurassic Kingdom – opens to the public on Saturday 26 May.

The family-friendly event runs from Saturday 26 May to Sunday 10 June and will see more than 30 lifelike animatronic dinosaurs – including an 18m high, roaring T-Rex and a 16m long Diplodocus – snarling their jaws and swaying their tails for audiences of all ages.

Visitors will discover a dinosaur world as they explore the Jurassic Kingdom trail through the park, finding epic life-sized dinosaur replicas from the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods as they go, from T-rex and Triceratops to flying reptiles such as Pterosaurs.

Younger dinosaur hunters can try their hands at excavation in a special area where they can dig for bones, before learning about dinosaurs life in the Jurassic Kingdom educational marquee.

Naz Kabir, event director at Weli Cultural Alliance – the organisation behind Jurassic Kingdom, said: “We are so excited to open the gates to the public at Jurassic Kingdom in Sheffield’s Norfolk Heritage Park.

“The park makes for a fantastic prehistoric-era setting, which will thrill audiences and take them back to the dinosaur period.

“Jurassic Kingdom experience is a fun and also educational experience suitable for all the family and we’re confident audiences from across South Yorkshire and beyond will love it.”

Richard Eyre, Head of City Centre Management, Markets and Major Events said: “It is quite fitting that one of our oldest parks will be hosting this wonderful event. The park was chosen by the organisers because they saw the layout and the greenery and decided it looked like the natural habitat of dinosaurs. I am sure everyone who comes to this exhibition will agree.

“We expect this unique event will be very popular and draw visitors to the area from near and far. It will be quite surreal to see life size dinosaurs in Norfolk Heritage Park this summer!”

A variety of food and drink will be available on site, as well as the opportunity for visitors to take home a memento of the day from the Official Merchandise unit.

Jurassic Kingdom opens to the public on Saturday 26 May and is open daily from 10am – 6pm until Sunday 10 June, apart from 4, 5 and 6 June. Last entry is at 5pm.

Tickets are available from www.jurassickingdom.uk. Prices start from £11.50 for adults, £10.50 concessions, £9.50 for children, and £38 for a family ticket.
