PREPARING FOR EXPLORATION WITH ENGELBERT STRAUSS #AD
This summer we’ve really ramped up on our days out. We’ve always been partial to a day of exploring new places, but this summer we’ve really put the foot down.
Our summer travels have however brought to light our lack of protective clothing for those more rugged days out. Corben loves climbing, splashing, jumping and generally putting his clothing and footwear to the test, like most 5 year olds.
We’ve partnered with Engelbert Strauss to tell you about some of their awesome workwear for kids.
Engelbert Strauss are a family-run company who are one of the world’s leading providers of workwear. They provide an array of products such as personal protection equipment, tools and office supplies, but it’s the safety kids shoes that caught my eye.
Corben’s shoes take some serious hammer and as the weather inevitably changes for the worse I worry for their survival. (Slightly dramatic!) I’ve been having a look at the Engelbert Strauss website for some tough rugged footwear that will not only protect Corben on his travels into the unknown, but also last more than 3 trips to the park!
As we home educate we do really get about and to all sorts of different places which means being prepared is really important. One day we’re exploring wet and muddy forests and the next we’re investigating derelict castles. This is on top of the usual trips to the park and family walks.
It’s these boots I have my eye on, they look great and are very well priced.
Whilst browsing through the website I also came across this below… How cute is that?! You can buy the little helmet separately too. It reminds me of our trip to Diggerland.
Engelbert Strauss are part of the fair wear foundation also who work with brands and industry influencers to improve working conditions where your clothes are made. High five for that!
Engelbert Strauss have some really good products that are actually really cool, not just your bog standard plain workwear. You lot know I love my headwear and there’s a few caps and rough tough knitted hats I have my eye on, hopefully I can grab matching sets for Corben and I to rock on our day adventures this winter.
Are you prepared for the adventures that lay ahead for you and your family?
